NGO Darpan is an online portal that connects NGOs with government agencies for smooth communication and processing.

It was launched jointly by NITI Aayog and the National Informatics Center (NIC). The platform helps NGOs and voluntary organizations exchange information with government departments, ministries, and agencies.

NGOs must register on NGO Darpan to apply for government grants and benefits. It is also known as NITI Aayog Registration and is a free service that provides updates on government schemes, programs, and funding opportunities.

Registration enhances transparency, legitimacy, and accountability of NGOs.

  • PAN Card of the NGO
  • Address proof of the NGO
  • Registration certificate (Trust / Society / Section-8 Company)
  • Details of funding sources (received or expected)
  • Details of past or planned activities

Member Information

  • Aadhaar & PAN of trustees, members, or directors
  • Mobile numbers & email IDs of members
  • Details of at least 3 governing members:
    • Chairman/President
    • Secretary (operations head)
    • Treasurer/Financial Trustee
  • Processing Time: 1–5 days (if documents are valid)
  • A unique ID is issued for future government communication
